The Federal Government of Nigeria has assured its continuous support for Corps Members under the National Youth Sevice Corps (NYSC) across the country.
This was disclosed on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, by the Chairman of NYSC National Governing Board, Amb. Fatima Abubakar, during a one day visit to NYSC orientation camp in Ikot Itie Udung, Nsit Atai local government area of Akwa Ibom State.
She commended corps members conduct in the state ,charged them to maintain the standard across their service year.
She said; “I’m very happy to be here today. from the airport where I met your Coordinator, I knew that she is a good administrator.
“I am even happier about the recommendation I have received about this 2022 set of corps members in Akwa Ibom. I’m told that you are the best.
“I am told that obviously, apart from the electricity issue you have in this camp, you don’t have any major problem in this camp.
“The only thing I’m going to tell you is that, with this recommendation that you have been given by your Coordinator, please maintain the same behavior and discipline.
“By so doing, you will excel beyond your imaginations by the grace of God, and many of us who are parents and grandparents will keep praying for you and hoping that you succeed in your future endeavors,” she said.
Abubukar also assured that the federal in collaboration with the state government will look into the few challenges facing the Orientation camp in the state.
