Member representing Kokona West constituency in the Nasarawa State House of Assembly,Hon Danladi Jatau has gave Gov. Abdullahi Sule a part on the back, for constructing the Angoro/ Bassa road in Kokona Local Government Area of the State, which was abandoned for over 21 years.
Hon Jatau, the immediate passed minority leader in the state who recently left PDP for APC, gave the applause while speaking when management of Nasarawa State Bureau for Rural Development appeared before the House Committee on NASIEC, Multilateral Cooperation and Community Development on the agency’s 2021 budget assessment at the state assembly.
He said that the construction of the road, has reduced the hardships his constituents and other people face when plying the road.
Jatau, who is the Chairman, House Committee on Public Complaints, Petitions and Security, said that the construction of the road would also boost the socio economic activities of the people of the area.
” I want to appreciate His Excellency, Gov. Abdullahi Sule for constructing Angoro/ Bassa road after 21 years that the road has not be constructed leaving it so dilapidated.
” We are grateful to His Excellency for the gesture as the construction of the road will also boost the agricultural and standard of living of the people of the area and the state at large.
” Since the construction of the road will boost agricultural activities, it will in turn boost the revenue base of the area and the state at large, ” he said.
The two-term lawmaker has assured Gov Sule of his constituents support to his administration to succeed beyond 2023 in order to enjoy more dividends of democracy.
He has also assured the people of his constituency of quality representation at the state legislature for the overall development of the constituency and the state at large.
The ranking lawmaker therefore called on the people of his constituency and the state at large to continue to live in peace, tolerate one another and be their brother’s keepers for the overall peace and development of the state and the country at large.
