Youths had again been charged to uphold positive virtues as a way to correct the negative image created in the past.
Governor Ifeanyi Okowa gave the charge at Ovade Oghara in Ethiope West local government when he presented Certificate of Commendation to Publisher of HallowMace Magazine,Mr Anderson Osiebe whose account was wrongly credited with Ninety eight million naira by a firm in Abuja and returned the money to the company afterwards.
The governor said Mr Osiebe’s sincerity over the money was a clear indication that he was not dubious,in addition to showing to the world that Delta State is blessed with responsible citizens.
He said some people were in precarious situation today because of the evil they perpetuated in the past and advised youths to remain on the part of uprightness.
The governor said the letter of commendation from Hon Ben Igbakpa to Mr Osiebe who hails from Jesse in Ethiope West local government area of Delta was well deserved.
The Member representing Ethiope Federal Constituency in the green chambers Hon Ben Igbakpa said he decided to honour Mr Osiebe because his action was legendary, commendable and a light to others.
He said he was proud to present him to the Governor and other guests he was hosting after his thanksgiving at his home town Ovade Oghara for the world to see that Delta is blessed with patriotic and god fearing sons and daughters.
It would be recalled that the Federal lawmaker had celebrated Mr Osiebe in Abuja when the news of the noble action came to public knowledge.
