The Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has approved the appointment of members for the Edo State Oil and Gas Producing Areas Development Commission (EDSOPADEC) and the Edo State Independent Electoral Commission (EDSIEC).
The appointments, announced by the Secretary to the State Government, Umar Musa Ikhilor, take immediate effect.
For EDSOPADEC, the appointees are as follows:
1. Francis Osaretin Osabuohien – Chairman
2. Felix Osazee – Member
3. Linda Aliyu Omonzele – Member
4. Princess (Mrs.) Ikuoyemwen Ewuare-Aimiuwu – Member
5. Edosomwan Kelvin Iredia – Member
6. Stanley Odidi – Member
7. Tony Osazuwa – Member
Similarly, Governor Okpebho approved the nomination of members for the Edo State Independent Electoral Commission (EDSIEC).
The appointees include:
1. Jonathan Aifuobhokhan – Chairman
2. Asein Ojo Victor – Member
3. Ighomo Egharevba Thomas – Member
4. Imafidon Hope Osarodion – Member
5. Dr. Suleman Ovuehor Ikhuoria – Member
6. Hon. Anthony Aikpoghome – Member
7. Umoru Habib Frank – Member
8. Aremiyau Aligamhe Momoh – Member
The appointments are aimed at strengthening the operations of the commissions to ensure the effective delivery of their mandates.
