Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has sent a heartfelt message of felicitations to Dr. Emmanuel Paddy Iyamu, Executive Chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), on the occasion of his birthday, today, November 30th, 2024.
According to a congratulatory message issued by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Fred Itua, Governor Okpebholo commended Dr. Iyamu for his unwavering commitment to the growth and development of education in Edo State.
The Governor lauded Dr. Iyamu’s sense of patriotism and relentless effort in contributing to the state’s growth, particularly in the area of education.
Notably, Dr. Iyamu recently accompanied Governor Okpebholo on an emergency visit to Uyiosa and Oroma Primary Schools, where they uncovered the shocking reality of the Edo Best initiative, a program introduced by the previous administration.
Governor Okpebholo also praised Dr. Iyamu’s efforts in keeping the youths of Edo State positively engaged and his role as a model in the education sector.
The Governor prayed that God would bless Dr. Iyamu with more years of good health, wisdom, and strength to continue contributing to the growth of Edo State.
