Niger State Governor, Alh. Abubakar Sani-Bello has described the demise of the Chairman of Gurara Local Government Council, Hon Jibrin Musa Bako Dare as a great loss to the state.
The Governor stated this shortly after the funeral prayer at Izom in Gurara Local Government Area of the state.
He described Late Jibrin Musa Bakon Dare as a great politician who was committed to the well-being of Gurara Local Government Council as well as the state.
The Governor who described the deceased as a unique character in the political sphere of the state said the vacuum created is a great loss to the council, the state and the All Progressive Congress (APC).
” Jibrin Musa will be greatly missed by his Local Government Council, the state and our great party. I was in his council last week during the local government assessment tour. He is a hard working politician who lived for his people.” He said.
Governor Sani-Bello however prayed Allah to grant the deceased Aljanatul Fidausi and grant the family the fortitude to bear the great loss.
Late Hon. Jibrin Musa Bakon Dare who was the elected Chairman of Gurara Local Government Council in February 2016 died in the early hours of today after a brief illness.
He died at the age of 62 and survived by 3 wives, 17 children and 25 grandchildren.
Late Hon. Jibrin Musa has since been buried in his home town,Izom according to Islamic rites.
Also at the funeral prayer were Niger State APC Chairman, Engr. Jibrin Imam, Commissioners , Party and government officials, including council chairmen led by the ALGON Niger State Chairman Alh. Gambo Tanko
