Niger State Governor, Alhaji Abubakar Sani-Bello has reitrated his administration commitment to support projects geared towards improving the socioeconomic life of the people in the state.
Governor Sani-Bello stated this yesterday in Bida during the foundation laying ceremony of an Information Communication Technology Center initiated by the Senator representing Niger South, Senator Mustapha Sani Mohammed.
The Governor who said his administration would not relent in its effort to improve the standard of living of the people especially at the grassroots level also said the ICT center if completed will assist in acquiring modern skills in information management.
He commended the initiative and foresight of Senator Mustapha Sani adding that it will also bring about job creation in the district.
The Etsu Nupe and Chairman Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers, Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar also commended the Senator for the giant stride adding that the center would make the younger generation to be ICT compliant.
In his remarks,the initiator of the project, Senator Mustapha Sani Mohammed, disclosed that the project was part of the Three ICT centers to be establish in the three Federal Constituencies in the state in order to meet the technological desire of the people.
Senator Mustapha promised to compliment government effort towards meeting the needs and aspirations of the people by embarking on projects and program that will affect the lives of the people positively.
