Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has congratulated his Niger state counterpart, Governor Abubakar Sani Bello on the celebration of his 52nd birthday.
A press statement signed and made available to EMPORIUM REPORTERS by the Chief Press Secretary to Kogi State Governor, Hon.Onogwu Muhammed quoted the Governor to have described Niger state Governor as truly progressive and worthy colleague.
He said in the time they have served together on the Nigerian Governors’ Forum, the celebrant has shown himself to be pan Nigerian with passion for the development of his state.
The Kogi State Governor urged Nigerlites to count themselves lucky to have a man like Governor Abubakar Sani at the helms of their affairs, and expressed confidence that he would do all within his powers to ensure the progress of the state in his second and constitutionally allowed final term as Governor of the power State.
As a neighbour in terms of geography and geopolitical zone, Governor Yahaya Bello described Niger state as a big brother which shared many common traits with Kogi state, and prayed God to use the grace of the new age of the Governor to engender continued peace and harmony between the two neighbours.
Governor Bello therefore prayed to Allah, on behalf of the entire citizens of Kogi State, to grant his Niger State counterpart long life, prosperity, good health and the necessary resources to take Niger State to the Next Level.
