Member representing Albasu Gaya/ Ajingi federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon Abdullahi Mahmud Gaya has expressed grief and sadness over the death of Emir of Gaya,Alhaji Ibrahim Abdulqadir.
He said that late Kirmau Mai Gabas was known as a promoter of peace and unity among the people of the emirate, even before his elevation to Emir of Gaya emirate.
The federal lawmaker stated this in a condolence message on behalf of himself and the people of the constituency.
Hon Abdullahi Mahmud Gaya stated that with the passing of Alhaji Ibrahim Abdulqadir, Kano State, and the emirate has lost a monarchs, whose contributions to the peaceful co-existence of his subjects cannot be forgotten in years to come.
He stated that the contributions of late Kirmau Mai Gabas to the development of Emirate, and the State were unparalleled added that late Alhaji Ibrahim Abdulqadir’s life on earth was very eventful and his achievements in all spheres of life left indelible marks on the people of his domain and the state at large.
Hon.Gaya prayed Almighty Allah (SWT) forgive the shortcomings of the departed Emir, remember his good works, grant his soul eternal rest as well as give his family and the people of the Emirate the much-needed strength and comfort to bear the loss.
