I am responsible for speaking the things that may be helpful and good. I don’t seek popularity. I have had so much of it than I bargained for. I also do not seek clout. How has it helped me? The paths I walk have already been laid even before I was born; I merely choose how I experience them.
The certainties of my mistakes and failures in life qualify me to urge young people to avoid paths that lead to delays in fulfilling their dreams and purposes in this earthly existence. Dreams can wither away in the face of persistent ignorance, arrogance, stubbornness, and pride.
Failures and pains are a necessary part of life, some of which have been chosen for us, yet they can be minimised, and failures can be transformed into stepping stones that strengthen ourselves and others.
This life, starting at birth and lasting for many decades, is shorter than we often think. Therefore, let no one dictate how you should enjoy it.
I can testify that love is the only true rule. Love God, love yourself, and love every human being simply for their humanity, treating them as you would wish to be treated.
Money is good because it serves as the human currency by which we measure value. However, it is often the least of our problems, as there will always be plenty of it in circulation. Money is meant to flow to those in need who desire it, work for it, ask for it, and give it away in love.
Friendships are a true blessing. Avoid those who seek to exploit you. Our relationships have become too transactional, but your company, presence, and who you are should be sufficient for a friendship. Don’t be troubled by those who ask, “What have you done for me lately?” Instead, seek first the most important things, and other blessings will follow naturally. Don’t underestimate the power of friendships. Now that I understand what love is, I wish I could teach it.
Every young person who desires wisdom should befriend much older individuals, which can be achieved by showing love and respect to elders.
