The Imane Muslim Association of Nigeria (IMAN) has congratulated Barrister Abubakar Usman Yahaya, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Nur-Kareem Energy Nigeria Ltd, on his recent call to the Nigerian Bar, described the achievement as a historic milestone and a source of pride for the Imane community and beyond.
In a statement signed by the Amir of the association, Abdullahi Musa, IMAN praised Barr. Yahaya’s resilience, determination, and unwavering commitment throughout his legal journey, which the group said exemplified the values of perseverance and service.

The association commended Yahaya an accomplished entrepreneur in the energy sector for demonstrating that “greatness is not stumbled upon; it is earned often through quiet struggle, sleepless nights, and steadfast belief.”
According to IMAN, Mr. Yahaya’s decision to study law, despite his thriving private sector career, reflected a deep commitment to justice, equity, and national service values they said aligned with both Islamic principles and Nigeria’s developmental aspirations.
“As you don the wig and gown, may Allah (SWT) continue to guide your steps, grant you wisdom in all your deliberations, and make you a beacon of justice in our nation,” the statement added.
The association further described Yahaya’s achievement as both historic and symbolic, noting that it would serve as a powerful inspiration for aspiring professionals across Egbira land and Nigeria at large.
His call to the Bar underscored the growing trend of private sector leaders embracing the legal profession to broaden their impact on public policy, justice, and societal transformation.
