Activities marking the May 29th inauguration ceremony of the 2nd term in office of Niger State Governor, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello would be low keyed in the state.
A statement issued by the Secretary to the Government, SSG, Hon Ibrahim Isah Ladan, said the decision to make the celebration low keyed was in line with the Federal Government’s disposition and general atmosphere in the country.
He explained that the spate of security challenges across some parts of the country called for sober reflection rather than a frenzied celebration on the inauguration day.
He reminded the citizens to be security conscious while going about their respective duties assuring that government would remain proactively focused in tackling security challenges in the state.
The SSG urged Nigerlites to pray for the success of the incoming administration and for continued relative peace and stability in the state.
