Dr Ogunbiyi while speaking to journalists on Monday, said President Tinubu’s emergence as ECOWAS Chairman not only a blessing to West Africa, but to the African continent and the world.
“A good leader should have integrity, self awareness, courage, respect, empathy and most importantly knowledge. President Tinubu within a short period has shown himself as a leader with multidimensional traits and has given a lot of hope to the citizens and world leaders.
The insurance mogul observed that the new ECOWAS Chairman has hit the ground running by promising the West African community that Nigeria would organize a trade and investment summit sometime in October 2023. “This will create an opportunity to drum home the need for economic recovery and growth in the West African region”.
“I fervently believe that this dynamism will make way for great change and harness the opportunities within the ECOWAS community. The issue of insecurity within the region will soon be a thing of the past with leadership that has a vision and the path to realizing it”Ogunbiyi stated.
