Young lady operating behind the scenes in coordinating the 2018 CITAD’s DIGITAL SUMMER INSTITUTE FOR YOUNG WOMEN IN NORTHERN NIGERIA (Abuja).
A techie and quintessential ICT trainer in her own right, Salmat, first born in a family of five, is an inspiration and role model to young women (and young men of course) in ICT and development, not only in Northern Nigeria, but the entire country.
A Masters degree holder in Mass Communications from Bayero University Kano (BUK), Salmat also holds a Diploma in Television Journalism from from NTA Television College, Jos, and a Bachelors degree in Mass Communications from Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria.
Patient, diligent, and selfless, she combines these pristine qualities with intelligence, brilliance and technical and organizational competence. Above all, she possesses a keen sense of social responsibility and the public spiritedness, the values of giving back to the society.
CITAD said “We at CITAD are most grateful to Salmat for a seamless, hitch free and successful training sessions. As she moves to Kano to continue with the Kano edition of the training, we hope and pray that she will deploy even more zeal towards another successful outing. ”
