The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has successfully amended its service allocation contract with Mashariq Al-Dhahabia to accommodate the 52,544 slots booked under the government quota for the 2025 Hajj.
The adjustment was finalized during a high-level meeting at Hajj House, Abuja, between NAHCON and the management team of Mashariq Al-Dhahabia, led by its Chairman, Mr. Muhammad Hassan, who is currently in Nigeria.
The Chairman of NAHCON, Professor Abdullahi Saleh Usman, announced the development, emphasized that the amendment was made possible due to a clause in the contract that allows for adjustments. He assured that the decision was taken in good faith to ensure a smooth and efficient Hajj operation for Nigerian pilgrims.
“The agreement is designed to enhance the seamless execution of the 2025 Hajj. NAHCON is committed to making every decision in the best interest of Nigerian pilgrims,” Professor Usman stated.
In response, Mr. Muhammad Hassan reaffirmed his company’s dedication to delivering high-quality service and ensuring a successful Hajj experience for Nigerian pilgrims.
Both parties expressed their commitment to upholding the highest standards in service delivery and ensuring a hitch-free Hajj operation.
The adjustment was coming as part of NAHCON’s ongoing efforts to optimize Hajj arrangements, ensuring timely preparations and quality services for Nigerian pilgrims ahead of the 2025 pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia.
