The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has congratulated Mr. Idris Olorunnimbe, Chairman-designate of its Board, other designate-Board members, and designate-members of the Universal Service Provision Fund (USPF) Board, on their appointment by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In a statement, the Executive Vice Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of the NCC, Dr. Aminu Maida, described the appointees as seasoned professionals with proven competence, vast experience, and outstanding track records. He expressed confidence that their expertise, strategic insight, and governance acumen would bolster the Commission’s regulatory mandate and drive the growth of Nigeria’s digital economy in line with the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
The NCC expressed appreciation to President Tinubu for the appointments, pledged to work closely with the new Board and its supervising Ministry to deliver on the nation’s digital economy aspirations.
