The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has drafted new guidelines to address unutilized and unclaimed recharges in the telecommunications sector.
In a statement, the NCC Executive Vice Chairman, Dr. Aminu Maida, announced that the draft guidance has been published on the Commission’s website, www.ncc.gov.ng.
“In accordance with Section 57 of the Nigerian Communications Act 2003, the Commission will hold a Virtual Stakeholders Forum on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. to review the draft guidance and stakeholder feedback,” Maida stated.
He further invited stakeholders to submit their written contributions on the draft document, with a deadline of Friday, April 4, 2025. Submissions should be addressed to the Executive Vice Chairman, Nigerian Communications Commission, Plot 423, Aguiyi Ironsi Street, Maitama, Abuja, or sent via email to stakeholders@ncc.gov.ng.
The virtual forum link will be available on the NCC website by April 7, 2025.
