The Wife of the Niger state Governor Dr. Amina Abubakar Sani-Bello has Flagged off of Maternal, New Born and Child Health (MNCH) week in Katergi, Katcha Local Government Area of Niger State.
During the flag off which involved free immunization got women and children under 5 years of age, dewormed including distribution of Mosquito net.
Dr Amina Abubakar Sani-Bello urged men to allow their wives utilize government facilities during pregnancy and delivery to reduce maternal mortality.
She added that the fewer he births at home the better for the society and the government as provisions have already been made by the government but are underutilized.
The Wife of the Governor also enjoined Nigerlites to educate their daughters saying that an educated girl will definitely pass it down to her children.
