The Secretary to the Government of Niger State (SSG), Ahmed Ibrahim Matane has commiserated with the entire people of Minna Emirate and the Emir of Minna, Alhaji Umar Faruk Bahago over the death of Alhaji Musa Tanko Bawa, Iyan Minna who died in Abuja after a brief illness.
In his condolence message, the SSG stated that late Alhaji Musa Tanko Bawa lived an exemplary and most inspiring life; the great values of hard work, honesty and selflessness that the deceased left behind will be remembered.
“We accept the fact that death is a necessary end for all mortals. Iyan Minna motivated and touched so many lives in so many places, now he’s suddenly gone! Only God can assuage our pain and sense of loss of his sudden demise, Matane stressed.
According to the SSG, “On behalf of the Government and people of Niger State, I want to convey my sincere and heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased and also commiserated with the Emir of Minna, Alhaji Umar Faruk Bahago and the entire people of Minna Emirate over the demised of Alhaji Musa Tanko Bawa, Iyan Minna”.
He prayed Almighty Allah (SWT) overlook his shortcomings and grant the soul of the deceased eternal rest, reward him with Jannatul Firdausi and grant the entire family the courage to bear the irreparable loss.
Late Iyan Minna is survived by Senator Muhammed Sani Musa (313), Senator representing Niger East Senatorial District among many children and relatives.
