A delegation from Nigeria Computer Society led by its National President, Prof. Adesina Simon Sodiya, today paid a courtesy visit to the Chairman of the National Population Commission, Hon. Nasir Isa Kwarra, at the Commission’s Headquarters, Abuja.
The visit was to collaborate and support the NPC to conduct the first digital Population and Housing Census in Nigeria.
In a remarks the Computer Society urged the incoming administration to sustain the already arrangements laid by President Buhari-led administration towards the actualization of the first-ever Nigeria Digital Census of 2023.
While responding,NPC Chairman appreciated the team for their insights and perspectives on how to assist the Commission through the use of technology to achieve high-quality and credible census data for national planning.
