Nigeria Government has congratulated Malaysia on the celebration of its Independence Anniversary, praising the resilience, unity, and determination of the Malaysian people in building a sovereign and prosperous nation.
In a goodwill message, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, conveyed Nigeria’s felicitations to Malaysia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Honourable Dato’ Seri Utama Haji Mohamad Bin Haji Hasan, and reaffirmed Nigeria’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations.
Ambassador Tuggar noted that both nations shared a history of cooperation in trade, education, investment, and multilateral engagements through platforms such as the Commonwealth, Non-Aligned Movement (NAM), Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), D-8, and the United Nations.
The Minister assured that Nigeria look forward to exploring new areas of collaboration to further deepen friendship and partnership with Malaysia.
