The Nigerian Navy Provost and Regulating School, Makurdi, has successfully graduated 45 personnel after completing various professional courses aimed at enhancing discipline and leadership within the service.
The graduation ceremony, held on Friday, 25 April 2025, was conducted under the leadership of the Commandant, Captain Henry Ebute Ejeh. The graduating students completed the Master at Arms Refresher Course, Master at Arms Qualifying Course, Petty Officer Regulator Qualifying Course, and Leading Regulator Qualifying Course.
The 16-week training was designed to refresh the knowledge of Master Warrant Officers and prepare ratings for promotion to higher responsibilities within the Nigerian Navy Provost Department.
Speaking at the event, the Special Guest of Honour, Chief of the Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ikechukwu Ogalla, represented by the Naval Provost Marshal, Commodore Nsikan Friday, congratulated the graduands on the successful completion of their courses. He urged them to apply the knowledge gained to enhance their professional conduct and operational effectiveness.
Commodore Friday further encouraged the graduands to serve as role models within the Nigerian Navy and the Armed Forces at large, emphasizing the importance of discipline, leadership, and professionalism.
The ceremony was attended by senior officers, instructors, and families of the graduands, who all celebrated the significant milestone in the careers of the newly qualified personnel.
