The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd.) has announced the appointment of a new eight-member Senior Management Team, following the confirmation of Mr. Bashir Bayo Ojulari as Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) and the constitution of the company’s Board of Directors.
Chief Corporate Communications Officer of NNPC Ltd., Olufemi Soneye, who disclosed this in a statement issued on Friday, said the new appointments take immediate effect and are aimed at accelerating the company’s transformation into a commercially-driven energy conglomerate.
Leading the new management team is the GCEO, Mr. Bashir Bayo Ojulari. Other key appointments included Mr. Roland Ewubare as Group Chief Operating Officer; Mr. Adedapo Segun as Group Chief Financial Officer; and Mr. Olalekan Ogunleye as Executive Vice President, Gas, Power & New Energy.
Also appointed are Mr. Udy Ntia as Executive Vice President, Upstream; Mr. Mumuni Dagazau as Executive Vice President, Downstream; Mrs. Sophia Mbakwe as Executive Vice President, Business Services; and Mrs. Adesua Dozie as Company Secretary and Chief Legal Officer.
The new management structure is expected to strengthen corporate governance, enhance operational efficiency, and support NNPC Ltd.’s strategic goals in the evolving global energy landscape.
