NPF 2024 SERVICOM WEEK: Niger Police celebrates Customer Service Week, takes policing to people’s doorstep

The Niger State Police Command has joined global world to celebrate the 2024 Customer Service Week in a grand style with a rally within Minna metropolis. The Command mobilized officers and men with the right melody by the Police Band, dancing, creating awareness and celebrating the Servicom Week.

During the rally, fliers commemorating Customer Service Week were distributed to members of the public bearing phone numbers of strategic officers of the Command, control room, PCB, Servicom, and PPRO, thereby taking Policing closer to the people. Members of the public were seen appreciating the gesture and commending the Police efforts in ensuring safety in the State.

In addition to this, the Commissioner of Police, Niger State Command CP Shawulu Ebenezer Danmamman, had earlier directed the community policing officer to embark on community engagement across the Divisions to feel the pulse of the people about Policing in the State, which he reported that community members expressed satisfaction and commendation to the Police, with observations and recommendations on areas to improve on, for effective service delivery.

The Commissioner of Police expressed appreciation to Niger State Government, Sister’s security agencies, media, Nigerlites, residents and all stakeholders for their support, collaboration and cooperation in providing an enabling environment and peaceful society for all.

He assured that the Police Command shall continue to live up to expectations in tackling and addressing the dynamism of crime in our environment, towards ensuring a crime free society for the socio-economic and political growth of the State.

CP asserted that people’s (customers) satisfaction shall always be the priority of the Command and that where there might be any dissatisfaction in any way, people should not hesitate to report to the Command for immediate redress.
