NSCDC pledges results-driven security reforms at Interior Ministry retreat

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has vowed to deliver measurable security outcomes and strengthen accountability in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The commitment was made at the Mid-Tenure Sectorial Performance Retreat of the Ministry of Interior, which evaluated progress and ensured alignment of agencies with national priorities.

 

NSCDC said the retreat is a turning point for agencies to move “from plans to results” under the leadership of the Honourable Minister of Interior, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo.

 

In a remarks,Commandant General of the NSCDC, Professor Ahmed Abubakar Audi,reaffirmed the Corps’ pledge to safeguard lives, protect critical national assets, and foster public trust through people-centered reforms and innovations.

 

“At the heart of our mandate is accountability, where strategies and policies are translated into action and results. Nigerians look to the Corps for safety, protection, and resilience in the face of threats, and we are determined not to disappoint,” Audi stated.

The Corps further reiterated its resolve to strengthen security and ensure that every plan translates into visible impact across communities.
