The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has signed the 2025 Performance Contracting agreement with the Federal Government, reaffirming its commitment to accountability, transparency, and improved service delivery.
The signing ceremony, held on August 30, 2025, saw the Commandant General of NSCDC, Prof. Ahmed Abubakar Audi, signed the pact with the Honourable Minister of Interior, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo. The Corps’ National Public Relations Officer, Babawale Afolabi, in statement said the framework underscored the government’s determination to make its agencies more result-driven.
With the contract, the NSCDC pledged to intensify efforts in protecting critical assets, combating illegal mining, enhancing community safety, and strengthening national security in line with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
