The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja Council hailed the appointment of its Chairman, Comrade, Emmanuel Ipole Ogbeche, as the Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to the Executive Governor of Cross Rivers State, Sen. Prince, Bassey Edet Otu.
The executive and members of NUJ FCT Council, expressed excitement on the appointment. The council commended Gov Bassey Edet Otu, for honouring the NUJ FCT Family with appointment.
In a press statement released in Abuja Tuesday, jointly signed by the Comrade Osaretin Osadebamwem and Ochiaka Ugwu, Vice Chairman and Secretary of Council respectively,the Council thanked Gov. Bassey Otu for finding its Chairman worthy for the appointment.
“As Council, we also assured the new CPS of Council’s support in projecting, promoting and advancing the policies and programs of Otu’s administration.
“The Executive and members of NUJ FCT Council congratulate you on your well deserved appointment as the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Cross River State, Sen. Prince, Bassey Edet Otu.
