The National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, has expressed his deep condolences to the people of Offa and the government of Kwara State over the tragic armed robbery incident that occurred yesterday and which led to the loss of many innocent lives.
Abdullahi in a statement signed by his Special Adviser Julius Ogunro, said he was shocked and saddened by the callousness of the armed robbers who targeted security officials and shot indiscriminately at passers-by before attacking banks where undisclosed sums were stolen.
‘’My thoughts, prayers and condolences go out to the families, associates and friends of the deceased of the unfortunate incident over the terrible loss. I pray that the Almighty God comforts them and grant the dead eternal rest.’’
‘’I urge the security agencies to do everything within their powers to arrest the perpetrators of the heinous acts and bring them to book, as such mindless violence does not belong in Kwara.’
“I also urge everyone who can to answer the call of the health authorities in Offa for blood donations,” Abdullahi said.
