The Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd.), Mr. Bashir Bayo Ojulari, has reaffirmed his commitment to building strong and result-oriented partnerships with key stakeholders to effectively deliver on the mandate entrusted to him by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Mr.Ojulari made the pledge during a courtesy visit to the Honourable Minister of Petroleum Resources (Oil), Senator Heineken Lokpobiri, on Wednesday, where both leaders expressed a shared vision of collaboration and performance to advance Nigeria’s oil and gas sector.
“We are here with a mindset of partnership – partnership with the Ministry of Petroleum Resources, the Ministry of Finance, and all other critical stakeholders. Our goal is to bridge gaps, foster alignment, and move forward with a united front. Antagonism benefits no one; collaboration is how we win,” Ojulari stated.
The GCEO also stressed that his leadership team is stepping into office with a deep resolve to break bureaucratic bottlenecks and drive impactful change through synergy and innovation.
In response, Senator Lokpobiri expressed strong confidence in the new NNPC Ltd. leadership, described it as the most formidable management team assembled in the company’s history.
“This is arguably the strongest leadership team NNPC Ltd. has ever assembled, “Now is the time to translate that reputation into measurable results especially in increasing crude oil production and delivering optimal value to the Nigerian people.”the Minister noted.
The Honourable Minister assured Mr. Ojulari of his unwavering support and strategic collaboration to create an enabling environment for NNPCL to thrive and fulfil its national mandate.
The meeting signaled a renewed spirit of cooperation and mark a pivotal chapter for the oil and gas industry, anchored on purposeful leadership, operational excellence, and a unified drive toward national development.
