Oyo State gubernatorial aspirant, Dr. Ololade Usman Bakare, has congratulated the newly emerged Oyo State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Moses Alake Adeyemo, and other state executive members on their successful emergence through consensus.
In a statement made available to party stakeholders, Dr. Bakare joined members of the progressive family across the state in celebrating what he described as a significant milestone for the party in Oyo State.
He noted that the adoption of Chief Adeyemo by stakeholders across the state was a strong testament to the unity, trust, and shared commitment that define the Oyo APC.
The cyber security expert further stated that the consensus arrangement that produced Chief Adeyemo and other executive members demonstrated political maturity, harmony, and a collective sense of purpose, where the progress of the party was placed above personal interests.
According to him, the peaceful emergence of the state executive members without rancour reflected the deep confidence reposed in their capacity to steer the affairs of the party with fairness, courage, and vision.
Dr. Bakare also appealed to the new chairman and his team to serve as bridge-builders among all tendencies within the party, urging them to foster inclusiveness and strengthen internal cohesion.
“As a gubernatorial aspirant in our great party, APC, I am committed to working collaboratively with the new leadership to advance the ideals of our party and deepen the trust of our people. Our shared goal must be to build a united, formidable, and people-oriented platform capable of delivering sustainable development and electoral success in the 2027 general elections and beyond,” he said.
The development is seen by party observers as a move aimed at consolidating unity within the Oyo APC ahead of future political contests.
