Zokala was known to have been terrorising Beri, Lamba, Kamfanin-waya, Farin-Shige, Bukoki communities and its environs along Rafin-Gora, Kontagora local government area of Niger state.

The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), ASP Abiodun Wasiu who announced the death of the notorious armed bandit said that the bandit lived around kontagora forest where he was trailed and trapped.okala, according to Wasiu, was gunned down when he attempted to escape.

The PPRO stated that effort is ongoing to apprehend other members of the bandits.
