Peter Obi Support Network (POSN) has concluded arrangement to hold a conference in Asaba, Delta state aimed at developing grassroots structures for the Labour Party Presidential candidate in February 2023.
Prof. Pat Utomi is listed as the guest Speaker at the Asaba Conference, which is scheduled to hold on September 17, 2023 and is being sponsored by Peter Obi Support Network (POSN) and Diaspora Medics 4 Good Governance (DM4GG).
According to a statement issued by the group, the theme for the Asaba Conference is, *‘Developing Grassroots Structures for Effective People Oriented Democracy’.*
The Conference is a platform to build effective grassroots political structures at the LGA, Ward and Polling Unit level to ensure overwhelming victory for the Obi/Datti Labour Party ticket in the 2023 presidential election.
The statement reads “As the Peter Obi Movement crisscross the length and breadth of the country, to deliver overwhelming victory for Obi/ Datti, we are holding a conference in Asaba, Delta state to train POSN State and LGA coordinators on strategies to create effective grassroots political structures at the LGA, Ward and Polling Unit level.
“The date for the conference is September 17, 2023.
A medical outreach organised in conjunction Diaspora Medics 4 Good Governance (DM4GG) and Doctors for Peter Obi (D4PO) is holding on Friday, 16 September 2022.
“The keynote lecture for the event themed *‘Developing Grassroots Structures for Effective People Oriented Democracy’*, will be delivered by Professor Pat Utomi while the Presidential candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi will be the Special Guest of Honour.
“Peter Obi Support Network (POSN) and Diaspora Medics 4 Good Governance (DM4GG) are sponsoring the conference.”
