The Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Dr. Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, has sent a warm message to all Muslim faithful in the FCT, Nigeria, and all over the world, as they commence the holy month of Ramadan.
In her message, Dr. Aliyu extended her warmest wishes to all Muslim brothers and sisters, calling on them to use the occasion to deepen their devotion to God and to strive for greater compassion, empathy, and generosity towards one another. She also reminded Muslims to remember the less privileged in their communities and extend love and support to them.
“This month of fasting, prayer, and self-reflection is a time for spiritual renewal and strengthening of our faith,” she said.
“May the blessings of Ramadan bring us peace, happiness, and prosperity, and may our prayers and acts of kindness be accepted by the Almighty Allah. Ramadan Kareem.”
The FCT Minister of State has also urged all Muslim faithful to continue to pray for the peace and unity of Nigeria.
