The Registrar-General/CEO of the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Hussaini Ishaq Magaji, has reiterated his commitment to delivering excellent service at the Commission, leveraging technology to enhance service delivery.
Magaji made this pledge on Thursday in Lagos following his induction as a member of the Chartered Institute of Directors (CIoD) Nigeria at a ceremony held at the Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Speaking at the event, the CAC boss emphasized that the Commission is making concerted efforts to deploy Artificial Intelligence (AI) in its operations in line with global best practices.
The induction ceremony was officiated by Alhaji Tijjani M. Borodo, LLM, F.CIoD, President and Chairman of the CIoD Governing Council.
Guest speaker, Mrs. Yetunde B. Oni, MD/CEO of Union Bank of Nigeria, delivered a lecture on the theme: “Creating Value Beyond Profit: The Role of Directors in Driving Sustainable Organizational Growth.”
The CIoD’s first induction ceremony for the year brought together top executives and industry leaders committed to promoting corporate governance and leadership excellence.
Founded on 17 May 1983, the Chartered Institute of Directors Nigeria has been a driving force in advancing good governance practices across Nigerian companies and the public sector, with a mandate to cater for and represent directors across various sectors of the economy.
