The Registrar-General/CEO, CAC, Hussaini Ishaq Magaji has today solicited the support of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN) towards access to affordable mortgages for staff of the Commission.
Hussaini Magaji made this appeal while speaking during a meeting with the Managing Director and Chief Executive of the FMBN, Alh. Shehu Usman Osidi, in his office.
The CAC boss solicited Shehu Usman Osidi’s support towards ensuring easy access to mortgages for the staff to own their personal houses.
While sharing experiences and exploring ways of collaboration for mutual interest, the Registrar-General stressed the need for the FMBN to ensure that only registered entities were allowed to do business with the agency.
Responding, the Managing Director/Chief Executive of the FMBN, Alh. Shehu Usman Osidi, thanked the Registrar-General for the visit and pledged to prioritise his request.
He reiterated the present administration’s commitment to ensuring affordable housing for Nigerians.
An his remarks, the Executive Director (Loans & Mortgage Services), Dr. Muhammad Sani Abdu, described the CAC boss as a brother, political ally, and strategist who worked tirelessly for Nigeria’s ruling party in Bauchi.
He further described the Registrar-General as the first indigene of Bauchi State to secure a political appointment under the present administration, adding that he changed the leadership style in government organisations.
The Registrar-General was accompanied on the visit by the Director of Compliance, Mr. Justine Nidia, Director of Human Resources, Mrs. Olayemi Oyeniyi, Dominic O. Inyang, Head of Public Affairs, and Ayua Terver-Jor, Special Assistant to the Registrar-General.
