A delegation from SAGE Lawyers Humanitarian Foundation visited the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) Wednesday, aiming to establish a partnership focused on promoting justice.
Led by Dickson Omaiye Esq, Head of Communications and Public Relations, the team expressed their dedication to supporting the NHRC’s efforts to protect and promote human rights in Nigeria. They proposed handling pro-bono cases for the Commission, among other collaborative efforts.
Dr. Tony Ojukwu , Executive Secretary of NHRC, represented by Harry Obe Esq, Director of Economic, Social, and Cultural Rights, welcomed the delegation and praised their initiative. He emphasized the significance of collaboration between both organizations to improve access to justice and protect human rights.
The two parties agreed to develop a strategic, formal partnership aimed at addressing the human rights concerns of Nigerians.
