Senator Abba Moro concludes Agricultural Training, empowers 200 constituents

The Senator representing Benue South Senatorial District and Senate Minority Leader, Comrade Abba Moro, has successfully concluded a week-long training program on Agricultural Value Chain Skills Acquisition for 200 constituents.

The program, held in Abuja, aimed to equip unemployed participants with practical knowledge and skills in agro-allied businesses. At the closing ceremony on Friday, Senator Moro emphasized the importance of agriculture as a viable alternative to white-collar jobs, urging beneficiaries to leverage the sector’s vast opportunities.

“This training was designed to provide you with the tools needed to be self-reliant and create opportunities for others. Agriculture is a gold mine that should be embraced, especially in these times,” the senator remarked.

He encouraged participants to apply the skills acquired to improve their livelihoods and contribute to the development of their communities. Senator Moro also reiterated his commitment to supporting his constituents through similar empowerment programs.

Beneficiaries commended the senator for his leadership and commitment to alleviating poverty in the district. They assured him of their continued support and prayers.

The training, which began on Monday, December 2, 2024, involved participants from across the Benue South Senatorial District.
