Senator representing Benue South Senatorial District and Senate Minority Leader, Comrade Abba Moro on behalf of the Senate Minority Caucus has sympathized with the governments and peoples of Bauchi, Borno and other states of the federation being ravaged by floods.
The Senate Minority Leader sent his heartfelt condolences to families and friends of those who have lost their lives and properties, and identifies with the governments of the affected states.
The senator called on the federal government and relevant government agencies to take urgent steps to evacuate those trapped and also ensure conducive environment for those displaced and in IDP camps.
Senator Moro also urged Nigerians in danger zones to be at alert and not hesitate to move to safer places to avoid being caught up in the web of the rampaging floods.
