Senator Emmanuel Olajide Ipinsagba, representing Ondo North Senatorial District and serving as the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Public Procurement, has showcased his achievements over the past 18 months.

During an interactive session with selected journalists in Abuja on Tuesday, the APC chieftain highlighted key developmental projects and initiatives that have positively impacted his constituents.

Within his first three months in office, Senator Ipinsagba initiated three signature projects across the six local government areas in Ondo North. These included a state-of-the-art cottage hospital to enhance healthcare delivery, a 1.5km road network to improve connectivity, and civic centers strategically located across the district to serve as community hubs. Additionally, he facilitated the installation of solar-powered streetlights, ensuring improved security and nighttime visibility in various communities.

Recognizing the importance of economic empowerment, Senator Ipinsagba launched a skills acquisition program covering bead making, sewing and tailoring, and computer applications. Participants were provided with starter packs to help them establish their businesses upon completion of the training.

The senator also prioritized healthcare, organizing medical outreach programs where constituents received treatment for various ailments, including eye screenings and corrective surgeries, as well as general medical check-ups and treatment.

To support students in the district, Senator Ipinsagba provided 1,000 bursary awards to indigent students and covered JAMB and SSCE registration fees for deserving students who could not afford the costs.

Understanding the significance of agriculture to the local economy, he facilitated training on effective fertilizer application and distributed fertilizers to boost crop yield and enhance food security.

In a bid to improve livelihoods and public safety, the lawmaker relocated hawkers from hazardous roundabouts and road junctions to newly constructed shops, reducing the risk of accidents and fatalities. Furthermore, he announced plans for a mega empowerment program in 2025, where beneficiaries will receive grinding machines, tricycles (Keke Napep), and motorcycles.

With these initiatives, Senator Ipinsagba has demonstrated a strong commitment to the welfare of his constituents. As he looks ahead to 2025, he promised even greater developmental strides to uplift Ondo North.
