Ahead of 2023 elections, a support group, Governor A. A. Sule Continuity Volunteers Group, has commenced strategies for the re-election bid of Nasarawa State governor for second term in office.
The group, held a meeting preparatory to hosting an endorsement rally to prevail on Engineer Abdullahi A. Sule, to seek re-election, in Lafia, on Saturday.
State Coordinator of the group, Comrade Abubakar Idris Adamu, said he was motivated to organize the endorsement rally because of the sterling leadership being provided by the governor.
Comrade Idris emphasized that, so far, Engineer Sule has demonstrated unparalleled leadership qualities and exceptional patriotism towards developing Nasarawa State and its people.
He disclosed that aside endorsing the governor for second term, the group is pledging to purchase nomination form for the governor when the time comes.
Also speaking, a Special Adviser to group on political matters, Hon Yahya Zanna, lauded the leadership qualities of Engineer Sule.
He particularly commended the Governor for his all-inclusive style of leadership and for completing projects he inherited from previous administrations.
On his part, Ali Abare, Special Assistant to the Governor on media, described Engineer Sule as a commodity that will naturally sell itself.
According to Abare, Engineer Sule is a leader that will not require so much effort to sell because of his sterling leadership qualities.
Also, speaking at the meeting a grassroots mobilizer, Comrade El-Yakub Sani said that the journey was smooth one so far.
He called on citizens to support present administration under the leadership of, Governor Abdullahi A. Sule to enable him to continue his mission of exceeding all expectations beyond 2023.
Members of the group from across the 13 local government areas, attended the meeting, where arrangements were made towards the constitution of various standing committees that will ensure the successful conduct of the endorsement rally billed to hold on November 27, at the Ta’al Conference Hotel.
