Consumers kick ,As Discos Hike Meter Price By 28%

Nigerians To pay more for Electricity As NERC Orders Tariff Review

Nigerians will pay more for electricity from April 2020 following a directive by the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) ordering a review to achieve a cost-reflective tariff in the power sector. FG Set To Take Over DisCos from ‘failed investors’

A bill to criminalize the use of ‘estimated billing’ in the calculation of electricity consumed and to be paid for by consumers by Nigeria’s electricity distribution companies has passed first reading in the House of Representatives.
