Kano state government has discredited the trending video portraying Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje collecting some dollars as bribe from a contractor. Commissioner of Information, Youths and Culture, Malam Muhammad Garba described the video as a cloned work, distorted and disjointed and calculated to discredit Ganduje. Ahead of the controversial visit to Kano by Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso on Tuesday, the Presidency on Monday summoned Governor Abdullahi Ganduje and the senator to avert breakdown of law and order in Kano State.
