Ooni Sets Up Committee Over Ighoho’s Arrest, Rallies South-West Leaders on Truce

Amidst rising tension resulting from the arrest of a Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Ogunwusi has announced the setting up a 28-member committee made up of prominent South-West leaders. DG warns corps members against protest, rallies

The NYSC Director-General, Brigadier General Shuaibu Ibrahim has warned Corps Members against participation in protests and political rallies, saying anyone caught would be sanctioned. He urged corps members to settle down in their places of primary assignment and execute projects that would add value to their host communities.
