This report chronicles the impactful “Week of Transfiguration” observed at the Foursquare Gospel Church, Wuse District Headquarters, Abuja from Monday, September 2nd, to Sunday, September 8th, 2024. The event culminated in a powerful Sunday service featuring a message titled “Divine Enlargement and Deliverance,” delivered by Rev. Adebayo Adebisi, initiator and leader of the “Weekends of Transfiguration” prayer team.

 

The week-long event was a dedicated period of spiritual renewal and transformation, with a particular emphasis on prayer and fellowship. Monday through Thursday saw various activities designed to foster spiritual growth and deepen the congregation’s connection with God.

 

Friday Prayer Vigil

A key highlight of the event was the Spirit and Firestorm Vigil held on Friday, which continued into the early hours of Saturday, September 7th. The vigil featured powerful prayer sessions led by four Transfiguration Ministers, each taking turns to guide the congregation in fervent prayers and worship. The atmosphere was charged with anticipation and spiritual expectancy, setting a firm spiritual foundation for the remainder of the event.

 

Sunday Service: Divine Enlargement and Deliverance:

 

The service began with a moving choir performance, creating a powerful atmosphere. Rev. Babatunde Idowu, a member of the Transfiguration Prayer Team and the District Overseer of Wuse District Headquarters, Abuja, introduced guest speaker Rev. Adebayo Adebisi.

 

Rev. Adebisi then delivered a message focused on “Divine Enlargement and Deliverance.”
