Books are said to be most indulging memories and powerful tools of knowledge in which without it,the world would have long been lost.
This was stated by the Niger state Governor Abubakar Sani Bello at the launch of Ten Books by his former chief press secretary Doctor Ibrahim Dooba.
The Governor described his former Chief Press Secretary, as an intellectual,hardworking and an erudite writer.
He pointed out that this character and the integrity which Doctor Dooba hold dearly, earned him his deserved respect.
The NIger state Governor who spoke through his wife,Doctor Amina Abubakar Bello,who was the mother of occasion observed that “writing a book is no small feat,not to talk of writing ten books”.
He added that the books being launched demonstrates the range of knowledge the Author has acquired in different fields and his immense love and passion for teaching and development of other people.
The Niger state Governor said it was for these factors that he decided to support him in his endeavour as a writer.
He then advised individuals to encourage people to master writing articles in order to improve our standard of knowledge and also honour those who write and preserve ideas and shape our thinking
Dr Abubakar Sani Bello then enjoined other individuals at the occasion to support the Author to succeed as a writer.
The book launch had in attendance some prominent Nigerians, including the Vice Presidential flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress, Sen.Kassim Shettima, who was ably represented by Dr. Muhammed Bulama, as well as, Gubernatorial candidate of the APC in Niger State,Hon. Umar Mohammed Bago among others.
