The State Secretary Of the Akwa Ibom State Chapter of Young Patriots Association of Nigeria (YPAN), Comrade Uwana Ufot has said that Nigerian youths needed to be positive minded and focus in other to remain relevant in the national discourse. “A time has come where the voice of our youths will be heard but we must be constructive minded.”
Uwana said YPAN has it as part of its core mandate to organize youth leadership summit for creative minded members where dignitaries from all walks of life will be invited to impact knowledge through their creative talks which will awaken the creative mindset of YPAN members.
YPAN Akwa Ibom State Secretary said the leadership youths summit will help in promoting youths empowerment thereby proffering solution to unemployment among its members.
“As a group of visionary leaders, we should devoid ourselves from corrupt practice and other social vices as these may obstruct our mindset from thinking creatively.
“We will all stand tall to agitate against tribal & religious sentiment as it is the weapon of destruction leading to weakness and division among Nations where the Nation may be underdeveloped, living in abject poverty.
“Our mission is not far from being a unity group of beings, working as a team and aiming to take over the mantle of leadership to redeem our Nation from the present predicament. We sought all members to maintain their dignity and stay safe”, Uwana Ufot added.
