The Nigeria Police Force (NPF), Zone 7 Headquarters, Abuja, has unveiled its official colours and sports jersey ahead of the 15th Biennial Police Games (BIPOGA 2026), scheduled to hold in Asaba, Delta State.
The unveiling ceremony took place during a briefing session at the Zone 7 Headquarters and was witnessed by the Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of the Zone, AIG Victor Olaiya.
The event attracted top police officers and stakeholders, including the Commissioners of Police of the Federal Capital Territory and Niger State, senior officers of the Zone, team coaches, members of the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), and members of the Zonal Sports Committee.
The unveiling marked a major milestone in Zone 7’s preparations for the national sporting event, as the newly introduced colours and jersey symbolise unity, discipline, teamwork, and the competitive spirit of officers representing the Zone.

Speaking at the event, the Chairman of the Zonal Sports Committee, ACP Emmanuel Inyang, formally presented the sports kit to the AIG and outlined the Zone’s level of preparedness, expectations, and commitment towards achieving a successful outing at the forthcoming games.
He noted that intensive training and strategic planning were already in place to ensure that athletes from the Zone perform creditably at the competition.
In his remarks, AIG Victor Olaiya commended the Zonal Sports Committee for its dedication and proactive approach. He charged officers and athletes to demonstrate professionalism, sportsmanship, and excellence throughout the games, while assuring them of the Zone’s full support.
The 15th Biennial Police Games, tagged “BIPOGA 2026 – Asaba,” is expected to bring together police officers from across Nigeria in a celebration of sports, unity, and camaraderie.
The competition serves as a platform for promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and esprit de corps among officers, in line with the Nigeria Police Force’s vision.
With the unveiling of its colours and jersey, Zone 7 has signalled its readiness for active participation and outstanding performance at BIPOGA 2026.
