The President of the Trade Union Congress of Nigeria (TUC), Mr Bobboi Kaigama, announced on Wednesday that a new amount agreed on by the Federal Government and labour to serve as Nigeria’s new minimum wage would be announced next month. Former Chief Justice of Nigeria. Aloysius Iyorgyer Katsina-Alu, former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Nigeria , has died. He was aged 76, and would have been 77 next month. A source who confirmed his passing on to SaharaReporters on Wednesday morning said “sad news has struck for the Tiv Nation today”. Katsina-Alu, a native of Benue State, succeeded Idris Legbo Kutigi as Chief Justice of the Supreme Court in December 2009, and was in office till August 2011.
