The First Technical University in Nigeria has announced the appointment of the Mrs Olayinka Balogun as first substantive Registrar for the University . Balogun hails from Igboora, in Ibarapa Central Local Government, Oyo Central Senatorial District, Oyo State. Until her appointment, Mrs. Balogun was on sabbatical leave at Tech-U as the Deputy Registrar/Director, Vice-Chancellor’s Office. Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde, has said that the State Government would rebuild the Akesan Market, Oyo and also provide support to all victims of last Sunday’s fire incident, which razed the popular 400 year old market.
