The Executive Chairman of Suleja Local Government Council Hon. Abdullahi S Maje today Monday directed the closure of all private Almajiri and Islamiya schools in Suleja Local Government Area following the prevailing cases of coronavirus in the country, and the consequent directives of the Niger State government. Niger state Governor, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello in a statewide broadcast to Nigerlites today Monday, announced an indefinite daily curfew from 8:00am to 8:00pm beginning from March 25th, 2020, with a ban on all forms of street begging and hawking in the state.
